About Us
For more than 50 years, neighbors and friends have been coming to Fairfax Swimming Pool on Roberts Road. Our recently renovated pool offers lap lanes, a dedicated diving area, a 3-foot-deep roped play area, and a separate, gated wading pool with a water feature and beach entry.
Membership provides members with unlimited use of the pool, which is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Members must abide by the pool rules.
The Fairfax Frogs Swim and Dive Teams offer children the opportunity to enjoy water sports, improve water skills and meet new friends. The swim team is in Division 3 and the dive team is in Division 2 of the Northern Virginia Swimming League (and NVSL-Diving).
During the pool season, lifeguards offer group, semi-private, and private swim lessons for beginner through advance levels. Contact the pool office for information.
The elevated pavilion overlooking the pool has picnic tables and ceiling fans. Members can reserve the pavilion for birthday parties and other special occasions. Contact the pool office to make a reservation.
Our grounds also include womens’ and mens’ locker rooms with private changing areas, showers, and toilets. The pool deck offers a variety of seating and umbrellas. The pool also has a water basketball hoop. Grassy areas with tables are available for picnicking. The pool grounds have a tetherball and a small toddler play area.
Normal pool hours are noted on the home page. Special activities may close the pool, but members may use the Country Club Hills or Mosby Woods pools during that time. Please check the events calendar for information about special activities.
